It’s really interesting how easily terms like racist, homophobic and Islamophobic are thrown around. We use these terms so much these days that they have pretty much lost all meaning.
Throughout the 2016 presidential election, protesters, analysts and politicians have accused Republican nominee Donald Trump of being all three of these things, especially Islamophobic. Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton has been deemed by the mainstream media as an angelic politician who does no wrong.
But when looking at her record, you can really make the case that she is the one who hates Muslims. She voted for the war in Iraq, she led the Libyan invasion and her policies helped contribute to the formation and rise of ISIS. Donald Trump’s words have not killed or displaced hundreds of thousands of Muslims like Clinton’s policies have.
