Klein: Clinton will run for president even if she’s indicted
Former Newsweek foreign editor Edward Klein says his sources told him intelligence agencies in Washington are obstructing the FBI from conducting its investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email scandal.
During an appearance on Steve Malzberg’s Newsmax TV show, Klein revealed how FBI Director James Comey was being impeded by powerful interests in DC.
“He’s been doing a criminal investigation of Hillary from the get-go and they are not finished but I’m told that he’s running into a lot of obstruction around Washington in the various intelligence agencies,” said Klein.
The New York Times bestselling author added that the obstruction would not appear in Comey’s final report but that “in his final report he’s going to find her guilty of several indictable offenses.”
The narrative that Clinton is not responsible for any wrongdoing is the work of Hillary’s spin machine, according to Klein, who asserts that she will also be found guilty of lying to the FBI.
FBI Director Comey dismissed Hillary’s insistence that the investigation was just a “security inquiry” yesterday, saying that he didn’t know what a “security inquiry” was.
“We’re conducting an investigation. … That’s what we do,” said Comey.
Klein also revealed that Clinton is telling her aides that she will run for president even if she is indicted over the email scandal.
“We don’t know. Nobody knows. Here’s the one thing I do know based on my reporting. She has told her aides and her friends even if she’s indicted, she intends to run anyway because she will say, ‘Hey, I got 13 million votes in the primaries… Democracy’s at work,’ and all of that stuff. She intends to run,” said Klein.
